European Commission confirms Serbia's progress in major areas

BRUSSELS - In its annual report on Serbia, the European Commission says the country has made progress on judicial and media reforms and on aligning with the EU foreign policy, diplomatic sources have told Tanjug.

The report commends two recently adopted media strategy laws - the Law on Public Information and the Media and the Law on Electronic Media, the sources said.

Leaders gather for EU enlargement dinner

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis hosted on Monday evening an informal dinner with the leaders of the Western Balkans, Moldova, Ukraine and the EU, during which issues related to the bloc's enlargement and the European future of the region was discussed on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the EU-Western Balkans Summit and the Declaration of Thessaloniki.

The European Commission supports the Idea for Ukraine to buy Bulgarian Nuclear Reactors with EU Funds

The European Commission stated today that it is possible for Ukraine to use EU funds to buy nuclear reactors from Bulgaria. There is no obstacle to that, said a spokesman for the commission at a press conference in response to a question.
