Macedonian Citizen was Detained for Assault of a Policeman in Sofia

A 33-year-old Macedonian citizen was arrested in Sofia after he assaulted a policeman in the district of Druzhba in the capital .

The man behaved aggressively towards the policeman who came to the scene after the accident, the BNR announced. He hit one of the two cops in his hand, so he was detained.

Sofia: Higher Levels of Particulate Matter in Some City Districts

 Increased concentration of particulate matter has been registered in several neighbourhoods of the capital city, according to information on Sofia Municipality's website.

 Air pollution is registered in the neighbourhoods of Mladost, Druzhba, Pavlovo, Hipodruma and Nadezhda, as well as in the area of Kopitoto.

Cloudy Again in Bulgaria, with Intense snowfall in West and Central Pre-Balkan

Further cold air is expected today from northwest, in Eastern Bulgaria from north-northeast. It will remain mostly cloudy with snowfall in some places, more considerable in the Western and Central Pre-Balkan region. In the evening the precipitations will ease from northwest, the clouds will break and decrease.
