Mariana Nikolova: The UAE is an Important Foreign Trade Partner of Bulgaria
"The United Arab Emirates is an important and promising foreign trade partner of Bulgaria among the Gulf countries," said Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Demographic Policy Mariana Nikolova, quoted by the Council of Ministers' press service. Nikolova met with UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori in Dubai.

A British law firm filed requests on Feb. 11 with the authorities in Britain, the United States and Turkey to arrest senior officials from the United Arab Emirates on suspicion of carrying out war crimes and torture in Yemen.

Serbian Journalist Barred from Entering United Arab Emirates
Stevan Dojcinovic, the editor at Serbia's Crime and Corruption Reporting Network, KRIK, was held at the airport in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday morning after being prevented from entering the United Arab Emirates, where he had been scheduled to speak at a major UN anti-corruption event.
KRIK editor deported to Serbia; "I was told I was blacklisted"
Beta news agency reported that Dojcinovic was told at the Abu Dhabi airport that he was blacklisted and could not enter the country but would be deported back to Serbia.
Dendias holds talks in Abu Dhabi
Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, currently on a visit to Abu Dhabi, was scheduled to meet on Monday with business representatives in a bid to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Greece and the United Arab Emirates.

Greek health minister announces hiring of 800 new doctors
Health Minister Vasilis Kikilias announced Thursday that 800 doctors will be hired to work at public hospitals around the country.
Speaking to Antenna TV, Kikilias said the positions are for doctors with a license to practice from 2011-12 onward.

Facebook Has Removed Hundreds of Accounts, Pages and Groups
The social network Facebook has announced that it has removed a total of 280 accounts, 149 pages and 43 groups, as well as 121 Instagram accounts in the UAE, Egypt, Nigeria and Indonesia, Reuters reported.
