EU Rejects Illegitimate Russian Elections in Occupied Ukraine

In a resolute stance against the recent Russian presidential elections held in the occupied Ukrainian regions, the European Union has officially declared its non-recognition of the process. Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, issued a statement on behalf of the Community countries outlining their strong condemnation and concerns.

BRUSSELS  - European Commission spokesperson Ana Pisonero said at a Brussels press briefing on Thursday the EC expected Serbia to implement "as rapidly as possible" recommendations from a report to be released by ODIHR and noted that it was ready to support Serbia to implement them.

Türkiye, IsDB sign $200 mln deal for quake recovery

The Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye (TKYB) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group has signed a $200 million financing agreement to support Türkiye's post-earthquake recovery efforts.

Deputy Treasury and Finance Minister of Osman Çelik and Muhammad Al Jasser, the president of the IsDB witnessed the signing of the landmark financing deal in Istanbul on Dec. 5.

Erdoğan arrives in Astana for Turkic states summit

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has departed for the Kazakh capital Astana to attend the 10th summit of the heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

According to a statement from Türkiye's Directorate of Communications, the two-day summit held under the theme "Turk Time" aims to facilitate discussions on enhancing cooperation within the organization.

The European Parliament is expected to approve its ratification at its plenary session in Strasbourg on Wednesday.
