The EC Gives a Chance to Another 20 000 Young People to Travel For Free in Europe
The European Commission has announced that it is starting to accept applications for 20 000 "Know the EU" travel cards today, reported NOVA TV.
All 18-year-olds in the EU can apply until May 16 for the opportunity to get to know Europe from 1 August this year to 31 January 2020, BTA reported.
Together for Europe Summit in Warsaw Kicked Off
The Together for Europe Summit in Warsaw, involving Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and the leaders of all member states, adopted since 2004 in the EU, has begun.
The occasion for the summit, initiated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiec, is the 15th anniversary of the beginning of the great enlargement of the European Union.

Bulgaria will Apply to Host Seat of European Labour Authority
The government on 30th of April approved Bulgaria's application to host the seat of the European Labour Authority, the newest European agency, which is about to start working before the end of the year, reports BNT.

Bulgarian Institutions Are Already Working on Brexit Plan Without a Deal
The Council of Ministers adopted a report on the implementation of the Action Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU without agreement. Preparations for Brexit without an agreement are on two levels: the EU and national institutions.

Minister-delegate for European Affairs, George Ciamba, on Saturday had a meeting in Washington with members of the Atlantic Council, an organization that promotes the strengthening of the Transatlantic relations, on which occasion he talked about the need to agree on a set of definitions for important phenomena, to help avoiding that gaps between the EU and the US become deeper.
