Bucharest, Jan 11 /Agerpres/ - President Klaus Iohannis stated, on Friday, that the Presidency at the Council of the EU represents a particularly important moment which will remain in Romania's history, showing that our country is well-prepared for this mandate.

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila on Thursday said that, regardless of the scenario in which the negotiations on Brexit with the UK take place, the EU's priority must remain the protection of the rights of the European citizens who live, work or study in the UK.

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila will take the floor next week in the plenary sitting of the European Parliament to present the priorities of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
