President Klaus Iohannis will attend the High-Level Forum Africa-Europe on Monday and Tuesday in Vienna.

On Monday, the head of state will participate in the official dinner offered by Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz, in honor of the delegations heads.

The European Parliament on Wednesday approved an accord with Japan that has been dubbed the world's biggest trade deal, covering economies that represent a third of the world's GDP, reports AFP.

Chapters 17, economic and monetary policy, and 18 on statistics have been opened.

The delegation of Serbia was headed by the Minister for EU Integration Jadranka Joksimovic.

In addition to EU foreign minister, the opening of the chapters was attended by EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn.

The European Parliament will adopt a new resolution next week, calling on Bulgaria and Romania to be admitted to Schengen as soon as possible. This was announced by the EP after the draft agenda of the last MEP session in Strasbourg last year, reports Darik.

Romania, as the next holder of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will continue to support the objective of consolidating the Union on the basis of its fundamental values and principles - unity, cohesion, equal treatment and convergence, Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said.
