UN Council Rejects Russian Draft on Syria Gas Attacks Probe
The UN Security Council on Thursday rejected a Russian-drafted resolution that would have extended a UN-led investigation of chemical attacks in Syria but with changes to the panel, AFP reported.
Serbian Army joins another UN peacekeeping mission
The Serbian Army (VS) will soon join another UN mission in the Middle East, the Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday, Beta reported, citing a statement.
Lieutenant Colonel Stevan Raseta will serve as a military observer in the UNDOF mission, established by a UN Security Council resolution in 1974 in order to separate Syrian and Israeli armed forces during Arab-Israeli wars.

UN Prosecutor to Report Croatia to Security Council
The prosecutor at the UN war crimes court for the former Yugoslavia, Serge Brammertz, said he will report Croatia to the UN Security Council for non-cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Terrorist Attack in Mali
Again there was a terrorist attack in Mali. 15 people, including six attackers, were killed in an attack on the UN mission in Timbuktu. Reports BTV.
This is the second attack that took place yesterday against the UN peacekeeping force in Mali.
The attacks are just ahead of today's session of the Security Council for Peace and Security in Africa.

Russia vetoes West's Syria resolution at UN Security Council
Moscow has vetoed a US-backed resolution condemning the Khan Shaykun incident on April 4 as a chemical attack while demanding that Syria open up its military bases to inspections.
Russia, which has veto power as one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, was joined by Bolivia in voting down the resolution. China, Ethiopia and Kazakhstan abstained.
