Constitutional amendments to be coordinated by end-year
KRAGUJEVAC - Serbia's Assistant Justice Minister Cedomir Backovic said Monday constitutional amendments relating to the judiciary should be coordinated with the Venice Commission by the end of the year.
Macedonia President Vetoes Language Law
Ivanov said he will not sign a law that the parliament adopted on January 11, insisting that the provision goes against the country's Constitution.
"We are passing an unjust law that favors the Albanian language," Ivanov told a press conference on Wednesday.

Head of State Returned the Counter-Corruption Bill
President Rumen Radev returned the Counter-Corruption and Forfeiture of Unlawfully Acquired Assets Bill to the National Assembly for reconsideration, the presidential press office said.
According to the head of state, the measures envisaged in the adopted bill, though necessary, are not sufficient to effectively counteract corruption.

The amendment, prepared by the joint efforts of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), was approved at the plenary session on late July 27.
