Slovenian army authorized to use force against refugees
Slovenia's parliament has adopted with 66 votes in favor and five against the legal changes that give greater powers to the army in protecting the state border.
Only deputies from the United Left, who think the amendments are unconstitutional, voted against on Wednesday morning.

The family got the dog in 2008. In his acceptance speech, US President Barack Obama told his daughters that they “earned a new puppy that’s coming with us to the White House.”

When the Obamas met the Tsipras family
An official photograph of hosts Barack and Michelle Obama receiving Greek PM Alexis Tsipras and his companion Betty Baziana was provided to the press on Wednesday, an image that Tsipras, in fact, posted on his Twitter account.
According to reports from the scene, Tsipras told reporters that he was impressed by the FLOTUS’ … height — something seen from the photograph.

Fitch: Fiscal discipline key for Turkey
