Pres. Obama heckled by small sample of LGBT community members (Video)

US President Barack Obama probably expected a better-behaved crowd during his speech before the LGBT community in the White House, yesterday.

 

During the event, which took place in the “East Room”, to honor the LGBT month, President Obama was rudely interrupted many a time by voices heckling him from the crowd.

The number of people worth $1 million or more rose by 920,000 last year, hitting a record 14.6 million. Woman to Appear on New USD 10 Bill

US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew has said a woman will be featured on a redesigned USD 10 bill.

Lew will make a decision about the selected honoree by the end of year, according to reports of the CNN.

The redesigned USD 10 bill is to be released in 2020, the 100th anniversary of the Constitution's 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.

The Pentagon is proposing to deploy heavy military equipment enough for 5,000 American military in several Baltic and Eastern European states, the New York Times has reported.

According to US and allied officials of the newspaper, the plan is "a significant move to deter possible Russian aggression in Europe," the newspaper said on Saturday.
