Greek police crack down on drug ring
Police have arrested 21 members of a criminal gang involved in drug dealing and theft around the Exarchia district in central Athens, according to early reports Friday.
A police statement was expected later in the day.

Gas station worker, 35, suspected to have led Combat 18 Hellas far-right group
A 35-year-old gas station employee from Ioannina, northwestern Greece, is believed to have led the far-right group Combat 18 Hellas, according to police who arrested 11 suspected members of the organization earlier this week.
Of the 11, seven are to face an investigating magistrate on Saturday on charges of running a criminal organization.
Protesters enter Bank of Greece, protesting foreclosures
A group of people protesting property foreclosures stormed the premises of the Bank of Greece in central Athens on Wednesday.
The protesters - about 25 individuals believed to be members of the "I Won't Pay" movement - were carrying banners with slogans opposing the auction of properties belonging to debt-racked Greeks and handed out fliers with similar messages to passers-by.

The members of a drug gang detained in a recent operation had been working for a group covered by state insurance, according to police sources.
Greece might need to lower taxfree threshold sooner, report says
Greek authorities might be obliged to bring forward plans to lower the taxfree threshold on income to 2019 from 2020 if the country's creditors deem that the primary surplus target of 3.5 percent of gross domestic product for 2019 is beyond reach.
The potential demand is mentioned in a draft compliance report by the European Commission made public on Monday by Bloomberg.

A powerful explosion damaged a court complex in central Athens early Friday, hours after Parliament voted to crackdown on anti-bailout protesters who gather regularly at the building.
Police said the blast occurred before dawn, following warning telephone calls to the offices of a daily newspaper and news website.
