Implementation of the deal for the delivery of Russia's S-400 air defense system to Turkey is in full swing despite U.S. pressure, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said on May 14.         

Both Greek and Russian officials on Tuesday hailed a scheduled visit later this week by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to Moscow as the beginning of a thaw following a frosty hiatus in relations between the two countries owing to a diplomatic spat this summer.

Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will meet tomorrow in Vietnam. This was declared by presidential assistant Yuri Ushakov to Russian agencies. The meeting "will be on November 10", "but the exact time is to be detirmined," Ushakov said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has refused to contact Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an because Ankara does not want to apologise for the downing of a Russian warplane, Yuri Ushakov, Putin's aide, said on Nov. 27.

"We see Turkey's unwillingness to simply apologise for the incident with the plane," Ushakov told reporters when asked why Putin has refused to talk with Erdo?an.
