Un-exposed, a hard-hitting TV talk show that featured Albania's four leading journalists, was also shut down after criticizing Rama. A number of other TV talk shows, newspapers, and online platforms critical of Rama are under attack from the government. With little legal recourse, these shows are in the process of shutting down.

Albanians awoke on Tuesday to a new sense of alarm over fiscal bills. Coffee shops scrambled to use cash registers that were installed back in 2010 but rarely used since then.

Rama and his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic, agreed on Sunday to postpone Rama's landmark visit to Belgrade from October 22 to November 10 after tensions were raised between te two countries by last week's football match incident.
