Tutankhamun’s treasures on show in Istanbul

The exhibition, "Tutankhamun, the Boy King's Treasures," which has traveled the major cities of the world for more than 60 years and broken records with more than 40 million visitors, is in Istanbul for the first time.
On the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the treasure in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt, the exhibition opens today at UNIQ Expo Istanbul.

Egypt Unveils Ancient Tomb and Sarcophagi in Luxor

Egypt on Saturday unveiled an ancient tomb, sarcophagi and funerary artifacts discovered in the Theban necropolis of Al-Assasif in the southern city of Luxor, reports AFP. 

In a ceremony in front of the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Antiquities Minister Khaled al-Anani announced that French and Egyptian archaeologists had discovered "a new tomb... with very nice paintings".

Archaeologists Have Discovered a Roman Tomb in the Courtyard of the Medical University in Plovdiv

A Roman tomb of the 1-3 century was discovered at the Medical University in Plovdiv. According to archaeologists, it is part of the western necropolis of Philippopolis.

It was discovered during the repair of the steam installation in the medical facility. The Roman tomb is made of bricks,  and the roof is made of granite.
