He sought out his representative, Theodore Abatzoglou, and said, “Let’s go Theodore! We aren’t going to participate in a procedure that humiliates the party.”

Evangelos Meimarakis invited Apostolos Tzitzikostas to attend a meeting of the parliamentary group of New Democracy so as to express his views on the programmatic statements of the government, since Mr. Tzitzikostsa is the only candidate for ND leadership who is not a Member of Parliament.

This was decided during a meeting between Mr. Meimarakis and members of New Democracy.
