Coroner confirms dairy student killed himself
A coroner has confirmed that 20-year-old dairy school student Vangelis Giakoumakis, whose body was found in a field in the northwestern city of Ioannina, killed himself.
The coroner?s report said that no other DNA was found on or near Giakoumakis?s body. The Cretan student, who had drunk a small amount of alcohol before his death, slit his right wrist.

A coroner ruled on Monday that the cause of death of missing student Vangelis Giakoumakis was suicide. The coronary report pointed to a single wound on the student?s right wrist carried out with a knife.
Authorities believe that the 20-year-old, who was enrolled at the Dairy School in Ioannina, northern Greece, committed suicide on February 6 the day he was reported missing.
