Turkish surgeons have performed four different cardiovascular operations through a 2-centimeter incision, with the doctors who used biological valves and veins in the operation for the first time in the world applying to be included in medical literature.

A 6-kilogram tumor from the thigh of a 64-year-old patient has been removed by a team of specialists at the Military Medical Academy, according to the hospital.
The rare and complicated operation, which lasted for 3 hours, was successfully performed thanks to the good work between the specialists in orthopedics, vascular surgery and radiology at the Military Medical Academy.
Doctor denies murder but admits 'medical error' in patient's death
A 39-year-old doctor accused of murdering a patient in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, last April and then dumping her body in a forest told judges on Wednesday that her death was due to a "medical error" during a routine operation for varicose veins.
