Today, across the nation, memorial events will continue to honor the 151st anniversary of Vasil Levski's death. The culmination will take place this evening in front of the monument to the "Apostle of Freedom" in Sofia. President Rumen Radev, Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev, and Sofia University's Rector, Professor Georgi Valchev, will deliver commemorative speeches.

Today, Bulgarians commemorate the 151st anniversary of the death of Vasil Levski, known as the Apostle of Freedom, who dedicated his life to the liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule.

A commemorative ceremony will be held in Karlovo tonight on the occasion of the 149th anniversary of the death of the Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levski. Earlier, a round table will be held on the topic: "Vasil Levski, the Chetnik actions and the committee work" with the participation of scientists from all over the country.

President Rumen Radev received the honor guard of the Vasil Levski National High School in honor of the 113th anniversary of Bulgaria's declaration of independence at the Tsarevets Fortress in Veliko Tarnovo. Against the background of the national anthem, the Bulgarian tricolor was raised, and 113 balloons with the colors of the flag flew in the sky.
