А Police Operation of TISPOL Will Begin Today in Bulgaria
From October 15 to October, enhanced control over trucks and buses will be carried out on the territory of Bulgaria and all EU Member States, reported BGNES.
The inspections, part of a TISPOL operation - the European network of the traffic police services - will also include employees of the Automobile Administration Executive Agency.
Fatal car crash in Halkidiki kills two
A 43-year-old woman and her 76-year-old mother-in-law were both killed instantly Wednesday when the pickup truck being driven by the former collided head-on with another vehicle on the section of the national road network connecting Thessaloniki with Halkidiki.

Spring snow in Serbia/PHOTOS
Tow trucks and trucks with trailers were banned on Mt. Zlatibor overnight due to the snow on the roads, Putevi Srbije (Roads of Serbia) announced.
The public company said on Wednesday morning that the ban had been lifted, but advised drivers to adjust the speed of their vehicles to the conditions on the roads.

Stockholm attack: Video of truck seconds after attack (video)
A video has emerged showing the truck that rammed into a large crowd in a Stockholm mall, Friday, killing 5 people. The vehicle is up in flames against a wall with smoke billowing and fire engines around it attempting to extinguish the flames. The perpetrator initially run over bystanders before crashing the truck in the wall.
Two injured as truck plunges off bridge in the Peloponnese
Two people were injured Tuesday after a fuel truck plunged off a bridge across the River Alfeios in the Peloponnese and crashed onto the river bank.
According to local news reports, the driver and his passenger emerged from the truck with light injuries.
45 Illegal Migrants Detained on Hemus Highway
About 21:00 hrs on Sunday night, Traffic Police Sofia inspected an Iveco truck driven by a 46-year old man from Vidin.
A total of 45 foreigners were discovered in the cargo section of the truck, reported the Interior ministry. 38 of the detainees showed their IDs. They are citizens of Afghanistan and Pakistan. The remaining 7 claimed they are their compatriots.

Vehicles' Harmful Emissions To Be Measured in Sofia on October 7
As of 10:00 hrs on October 7, an operation will be launched for measuring harmful emissions from exhaust gasses of vehicles in Sofia.
The initiative is organised by the Diabetes Type 2 Association and the Climate Coalition - Bulgaria.

The Confederation of the Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) will join an initiative of the UK's Communication Workers Union to provide humanitarian aid to refugees in Turkey ahead of the coming winther.
Serbia blocks entry of Croatian goods as countermeasure
Starting from midnight the Serbian police are preventing Croatian goods and cargo vehicles from entering Serbia, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic announced.
This applies to trucks, trains, and other vehicles, even if they are driven by a person from a third country.
Turkish Tragedy: 15 killed in road accident (pics)
15 people were killed in western Turkey after a fatal accident between two trucks today. One of the trucks was varying workers. Besides the fatalities 2 more people were injured when the two trucks collided head on.
