Investment Plan for Europe: over €1 billion of EIF equity investments for SMEs and start-ups across Europe since January

Since the start of 2015, the European Investment Fund (EIF) and equity funds across Europe have signed investment agreements worth over €1 billion which will provide equity financing for businesses. These 28 transactions benefit from the support of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) the heart of the Investment Plan for Europe.

Angel investors association to represent Turkey abroad

The Business Angels Association of Turkey (TBAA) became the first national member of the Global Business Angels Network (GBAN), the association announced at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Milan.

The TBAA will represent Turkey at the global community of business angels and early stage markets, the association said by a written statement on March 23.

Bulgarian-US Software Startup Attracts USD 1.9 M Investment

The Bulgarian-US software startup company Rinfinity attracted an investment of USD 1.9M. 

It develops software for eliminating wasted office space. 

Rifiniti is founded by Michael Gresty, who is also its chief executive, and Irina Mladenova. The company is based in Boston, but the software is developed in Sofia.
