New Marine Species Found in the Mouth of a Whale Shark
The whale shark's mouth may not seem like the most welcoming home environment, but Japanese researchers have found that there is no place like this for a newly discovered shrimp-like creature.
Fallow deer photographed in Taurus Mountains
Nature and wildlife photographer İdris Ölmez, who is working for the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, photographed fallow deer at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. He said he waited for some four hours without moving to not scare the animal and get an image.

The Humpback Whale in the Thames River Was Found Dead
The humpback whale, seen in the River Thames, was found dead east of London between Crayford Ness and the Queen Elizabeth II bridge, Dartford and will be autopsied, Reuters reported.
The 10m long whale was found dead in the shallows in Greenhithe, Kent, yesterday and was transported to London during the night.
The London Zoo will investigate the cause of the whale's death.

Man dies in Ptolemaida after hunting accident
A 67-year-old man died on Monday morning after being accidentally shot during a wild boar hunt in a forested area between the northern Greek towns of Kozani and Florina on Sunday.
According to reporters, a fellow hunter mistook him for their quarry.
He was rushed to a hospital in the town of Ptolemaida, where he underwent surgery but died.
