Woman attempts suicide after attack from husband

A 36-year-old woman in the town of Aigio, western Greece, tried to commit suicide by taking an unknown number of pills after she was attacked by her husband.

The 39-year-old husband was arrested and is facing charges of domestic violence.

Police was alerted to the suicide attempt by the local hospital where she was transferred for treatment.

They don’t care about us

But when a woman feels that her life is in danger and asks for their help, they simply brush her off.
