Bulgaria Changes Entry Rules for Arrivals from Red Zone Countries
As of 29 July, arrivals in Bulgaria from red zone countries will require a certificate of vaccination or recovery, plus a negative PCR test performed up to 72 hours prior to entry. The previous order did not include certification of recovery.

Several Countries Ease Travel Restrictions on Bulgarian Arrivals
The Czech Republic is putting Bulgaria on the list of countries with a medium risk of transmission of COVID-19 as of May 31, which lifts some of the restrictions on Bulgarian citizens entering the country, the Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

As of today, May 27, Romanian citizens can enter Bulgaria via all border crossing points without a document for a negative PCR result or antigen test, vaccination certificate or positive result certifying previous infection.

The Bulgarian Health Minister Thursday issued an order with new rules for entry in Bulgaria from May 1.
Iceland Introduces 5-Day Quarantine in Hotel for Arrivals from Bulgaria
From April 1, Iceland introduces mandatory five-day quarantine in a hotel upon entry into the country for Bulgarian citizens including, the foreign ministry said.
The measure applies to arrivals from 'dark red' or 'grey' zones, including Bulgaria.
Switzerland Imposed 10-Day Quarantine for Arrivals from Bulgaria
Switzerland introduces a mandatory 10-day quarantine for all the people who arrive from Bulgaria. The measure will come into force on March 22.
The arrivals must also show a negative PCR test.
The quarantine could be lifted no earlier than the 7th day but only after a second negative test. The entry regime is the same for the Principality of Liechtenstein.

North Rhine-Westphalia Requires Mandatory COVID-19 Test for Those Coming from Bulgaria
The German province of North Rhine-Westphalia requires a mandatory coronavirus test for those arriving from Bulgaria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
Testing should be performed by rapid test or PCR test up to 24 hours before entering the territory of the federal state or immediately thereafter, but not later than 24 hours after arrival.
