Türkiye's first vocational high school in the field of space and aviation technology has been opened in the capital Ankara's Elmadağ district.

There are more than 6.9 million students and nearly 185,000 academic staff in a total of 208 higher education institutions in the country, according to the 2022-2023 academic year's statistics, Türkiye's Higher Education Board (YÖK) has announced.

The Vice President of the European Commission, Margaritis Schinas and the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Kostis Hatzidakis visited the Vocational School of the Public Employment Service - D.Y.P.A. in Egaleo, on the occasion of Europe Day.
