Turkish defense firm, mobile operators to develop domestic base station antenna

Turkey's state-run defense company ASELSAN and mobile operators Turkcell, Türk Telekom and Vodafone have cooperated to develop a base station antenna to be used for the 4.5G network.

Transport Minister Ahmet Arslan attended the signature ceremony on Jan. 26 on the sidelines of the "5G and Beyond Technologies Conference" about the use of the domestic base station antenna.

Tüpraş, OMV Petrol Ofisi and Turkish Airlines have been named Turkey's largest companies by a leading economy and business magazine. 

The results of the Top 500 Private Company Survey of Turkey, organized by Capital Magazine in Vodafone's main sponsorship, were announced in a ceremony held in Istanbul late on Dec. 14, Anadolu Agency reported.

US-EU trade talks halt most likely option: French minister
