OSCE Parliamentary Assembly: "The elections in Serbia were legitimate and democratic"
He stated this in a written statement published at the winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna.

The first works on the construction of the ''Smile of Vojvodina'' expressway began in mid-December.
The "Smile of Vojvodina" highway will be about 186 kilometers long and will take about 50 minutes from Baki Breg to Vrbas, and one hour and ten minutes from Vrbas to Srpska Crnja.
The expressway is designed for a speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
Belgrade region biggest contributor to Serbia's GDP in 2022
BELGRADE - In 2022, the Belgrade region was the biggest contributor to Serbia's GDP with a 40 pct share and the northern Vojvodina province followed with 26.4 pct.
According to preliminary figures released by the national statistical office, the Sumadija and Western Serbia region is in third place with 18.4 pct and the Southern and Eastern Serbia region follows with 15.2 pct.
Vojvodina assembly speaker Istvan Pastor dies
NOVI SAD - The speaker of the assembly of Serbia's Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians leader Istvan Pastor died on Monday after a serious illness, aged 68.
Born in Majdan, Novi Knezevac municipality, in 1956, Pastor was a jurist by profession.

Vilenica Prize goes to Otto Tolnai
The 2023 Vilenica Prize for Central European literature will go to Otto Tolnai, a Hungarian author from the Serbian province of Vojvodina. He will accept the award at the Vilenica international literary festival in September.
A poet, writer, playwright, essayist and translator, Tolnai is considered one of the most important contemporary Hungarian authors.

Cukaricki overcome Vojvodina to advance to Serbian football cup final
NOVI SAD - Cukaricki Belgrade are through to the final of the Serbian football cup after defeating Vojvodina Novi Sad away 1-0 in the semi-final on Thursday.
The match at the Karadjordje Stadium was decided in the second half, when Vojvodina's Uros Vitas was sent off in the 52nd minute after picking up a second yellow card.

Dzajic unanimously elected new FSS president
STARA PAZOVA - Red Star Belgrade legend Dragan Dzajic was unanimously elected new Football Association of Serbia (FSS) president on Tuesday.
At an FSS Assembly meeting in Stara Pazova near Belgrade, Dzajic was the sole candidate for the post after former Serbia international Nemanja Vidic withdrew his candidacy on Monday.
