About 10,000 Hawaiian residents were evacuated because of the Kilauea volcano eruption, the World Agencies have reported.
The eruption of lava and ashes from the volcano was preceded by an earthquake of magnitude 5 in the area.

A Volcano Erupted in Japan
Yo Yama volcano erupted in Japan and forced authorities to ban access to the top, but there are no reports of casualties or destruction, Reuters reported.
The volcano thrust into the sky clouds of smoke and stones. It is 1298 meters high and is located on the island of Kyushu.

Powerful Eruption Occurs at Mt. Shinmoe in Southwest Japan
(Xinhua) - Mount Shinmoe on the southwestern Japanese main island of Kyushu erupted violently on Tuesday, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said.
According to the JMA, the powerful eruption at Mt. Shinmoe, which straddles Kagoshima and Miyazaki prefectures, occurred at around 2:30 p.m. local time (0530 GMT) Tuesday.

Geologists from the University of Kobe discovered supervolcano with 34-cubic meter of magma on the shores of Japan, which in the event of an eruption could kill more than 100 million people. The study is published in the journal Science.
