Conde Nast Traveller compiled a list with 50 of the most breathtaking sites across Europe.

Six Greek beaches among the best in the world

Elafonisi in Greece is among the 14 best beaches in the world and the second best in Europe for 2016, according to the leading travel platform TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards.

Moreover, another five Greek beaches are among the best 15 in Europe: Limnionas Zakynthos, Balos, Agios Pavlos Lindos, Sarakiniko Milos and Egremni Lefkada.

Santorini and Crete among the most popular destinations for couples and singles

Santorini is among the 10 most popular destinations for couples, according to Travel Smart survey of global hotel reservation platform, Agoda (property of the Priceline Group).

The research is based on millions of bookings and reviews on Agoda taken from couples and singles.

Santorini ranked fifth in list of the most attractive destination for couples in the world.

Pluto may have ice volcanoes

Two icy volcanoes may erupt at Pluto’s south pole, according to images from NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft.

The images show two mountains in circular shape and with deep depressions in their centers. One, Wright Mons, is 3 to 5 kilometres high and the other, Piccard Mons, is up to 6 kilometres high.
