BELGRADE - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in Belgrade on Tuesday implementation of the Ohrid Agreement, reached in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, was a precondition on the EU path.

BELGRADE - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in Belgrade on Tuesday normalisation of Belgrade-Pristina relations was necessary and that violence was completely unacceptable.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday after meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen a Serbia-Bulgaria gas interconnector - under construction with substantial support from the EU - would be opened by end-November.

BELGRADE - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in Belgrade on Tuesday she had had an excellent discussion with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and that her first message had been that enlargement was on top of the EU agenda and that Serbia was one of the most advanced countries on the path to EU membership.

Vucic first thanked Ursula von der Leyen for the visit and said that "we have had very good talks so far, and we will continue talking throughout the day".
He referred to the fact that the EU is Serbia's biggest partner, and that Serbia is one of the biggest exporters in the EU.

BELGRADE - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Belgrade on Tuesday.

At the Nikola Tesla Airport, she was welcomed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

She will meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vui and Prime Minister Ana Brnabi.
Vui and Von der Leyen will first have a face-to-face meeting at the Palace of Serbia, followed by a meeting with members of the two delegations.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will receive European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Belgrade on Tuesday.

After a welcome for von der Leyen at the Nikola Tesla Airport, scheduled for 1.15 pm, Vucic and the EC president will hold a tete-a-tete meeting at the Palace of Serbia, the presidential press office announced in a statement.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has called on North Macedonia to finish the changes to its constitution.

She gave a joint briefing with Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski in Skopje, where she is visiting as part of her tour of the Western Balkans.
