The Supreme Court on Sunday evening issued guidelines granting an extension to polling stations where constituents were still lining up to vote after the official 7 p.m. closing time.
Greeks head to the polls for triple elections
Greeks are heading to the polls on Sunday to participate in the country's triple elections - European, regional and local.
Polls opened at 7 a.m. (EEST) and will close at 7 p.m. (EEST). The country has a total of 9,922,294 registered voters, of which 4,810,075 are men and 5,112,219 are women. Greeks living abroad vote a day earlier, on May 25.

Greeks abroad can register to vote in Euro elections until April 5
Greeks living abroad who wish to vote in the European Parliament elections in May have until April 5 to register on the Interior Ministry's special electoral roll after an extension was announced on Friday.

Polling stations in Serbia close
BELGRADE - Polling stations across Serbia, at which citizens cast their votes in Sunday's presidential elections, closed at 8 pm.
According to figures released by the national election commission (RIK), the turnout by 6 pm was 46.23 pct of 6,724,949 registered voters.
