Bulgaria: 8 Illegal Migrants and their Driver were Detained in Sofia
Eight illegal migrants were found in a car in Sofia, in the area of the "Vrana" palace.
This was confirmed by the Ministry of the Interior.
The man who drove the car was detained. He is 23 years old.
According to initial data, the illegal migrants are Syrians.
The case is under investigation
Bulgaria: Today is the Day of Sofia
Today is Sofia's holiday. Prizes will be awarded to the city's honorary citizens at the solemn session of the Metropolitan Municipal Council.

Sofia is Opening More Parks for Visitors after the Quarantine
By order of Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, the Vrana Park-Museum and the Military Academy Park in Bulgaria's capital open for visitors today. The Western Gate of Serdica archaeological park, as well as the garden near the Alexander Battenberg Mausoleum are also opening today.

The Municipal Museums and the Sofia Zoo will work for free on Sofia Day
Traditionally, on the occasion of the Day of Sofia - 17 September, visitors will be able to use the Vrana Park Museum, the Zoo, the Regional Museum of History in Sofia, the archaeological level of the St. Sofia Basilica and the Sofia City Art Gallery, the municipality said.

Free-of-Charge Entry to Sofia Municipal Museums on September 22
In order to celebrate the Independence Day of Bulgaria, municipal museums will work without an entrance fee on September 22, 2016, announced the press centre of Sofia Municipality.
Free-of-charge entry will provided for the Museum of History, the museum under the St. Sofia basilica, the Municipal Cultural Institute, the Sofia City Art Gallery, park-museum Vrana and the Zoo.
