VRNJACKA BANJA, - Lovefest, Serbia's biggest festival of love that takes place in the spa town of Vrnjacka Banja, central Serbia, has been nominated for the best medium-sized European festival, the title granted by the European Festival Awards (EFA).

Lovefest found itself among 70 popular events from 20 countries.

9th Vrnjci International Classical Music Festival in July

VRNJACKA BANJA - The 9th Vrnjci International Classical Music Festival will take place in the Culture castle in Vrnjacka Banja from July 20 to 30.

The festival will gather participants from Norway, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany and Serbia. The art director of the festival is Uros Dojcinovic.

VRNJACKA BANJA - The Bridge of Love in Vrnjacka Banja, one of the 32 bridges, on two small rivers in Serbia's biggest spa, has recently become famous as the New York Times mentioned it as the bridge on which sweethearts first started locking padlocks to the railings as a pledge of undying love, long before they appeared on the Pont des Arts in Paris.
