BELGRADE - Serbian FM and Socialist Party of Serbia leader Ivica Dacic on Wednesday dismissed as untrue reports by some media outlets that he was being considered by President Aleksandar Vucic as a potential successor to PM Ana Brnabic in case she resigned.

Vucic: New runway one of largest-ever investments in Belgrade airport
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday a new take-off and landing runway at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport was one of the largest-ever investments in the airport.
"The concession agreement (for the airport) is one of the five best things we have done. We are now proud of our airport," Vucic said before the opening of the new runway.
Dacic: Unity and political stability top state and national interest
BELGRADE - Serbian FM and Socialist Party of Serbia leader Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday he had had a good conversation with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic earlier in the day and that unity of the people and political stability were the top state and national interest.
"A very good discussion with President Aleksandar Vucic," Dacic remarked in an Instagram post.
Brnabic: Citizens to be satisfied with new measures
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Tuesday she had made calculations with President Aleksandar Vucic and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali to see what additional economic and political measures could be taken, and noted that the citizens would be satisfied with the measures, to be announced on Wednesday.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from the UK's Ambassador to Serbia Sian MacLeod on Tuesday, thanking her for having contributed to advancement of bilateral ties through her committed work and diplomatic experience.
MacLeod expressed gratitude for the support she had received during her tenure in Belgrade.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, announced that within the framework of a voluntary arms surrender campaign, around 68,000 firearms and explosive devices were handed over, reported Serbian public television RTS, quoted by BTA.
