Vucic: I am proud of Serbian army's progress

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday he was proud of the progress of the Serbian Armed Forces.

Those who have destroyed the army now view its progress "with envy and malice," Vucic told reporters in a comment on a statement by opposition politician Zdravko Ponos about investments in the military.

Vucic, Dyukov discuss security of oil and derivatives supplies

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Dyukov on Monday to discuss NIS operations in Serbia and the security of oil and oil derivatives supplies to the country, Tanjug learns.

They also discussed new investments in renewable energy sources.

Vucic thanked Dyukov for the successful cooperation to date.

Vucic meets with Huawei representatives

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Huawei representatives on Friday to discuss a continuation of the very successful cooperation with the company.

"That is of great significance to Serbia, since it (Huawei) is one the largest companies in the telecommunications industry," Vucic wrote in a post on his Instagram profile that also included photos from the meeting.

Vucic: Serbia to try to preserve foundations of independent policy

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday Serbia would be trying to pursue a policy of friendship with the US but would not be pursuing a hostile policy towards Russia or China, and noted that it would be trying to preserve the foundations of an independent policy.
