Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic visits Montenegro

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic will pay an official visit to Montenegro on Monday to meet with that country's top officials.

Gojkovic will confer with Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and Parliament Speaker Ranko Krivokapic

She will also meet Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Luksic.

Regional leaders sign declaration on missing persons

Mostar -- Leaders of Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro, conferred in Mostar on Friday where they will sign a declaration on missing persons.

The document aims to encourage the search for people missing in the wars both in the Balkan region and elsewhere in the world.

OSCE Condemns Montenegro Tabloid Sex Claims

Mijatovic on Wednesday expressed disgust about the tabloid’s allegations that Calovic, the director of an influential Montenegrin NGO and a prominent government critic, had sexual relations with her two dogs.

"I hope we will hear the condemnation of such journalism, if we can call it journalism. As a person, as a woman, I am appalled," Mijatovic said.

Help from Montenegro was expected

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic thanked on Wednesday the government and people of Montenegro for their help during the catastrophic floods in Serbia last week.

Montenegro sent help on time and without hesitation, which reduced the scale of the disaster, Nikolic told a joint news conference after a meeting with Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic in Belgrade.
