Stan Lee documentary comes to Disney+
The late Marvel Comics visionary Stan Lee will be the focus of an upcoming documentary.
Disney+ announced on Dec. 28, on what would have been Lee's 100th birthday, that an original documentary about him will arrive in 2023.
Lee, the co-creator of "Spider-Man," "The Avengers,"X-Men," along with hundreds of other characters, began his career in 1941.

Formula One extends US broadcast deal
Formula One has extended its broadcast deal with American network ESPN for a further three years, as the sport enjoys a boom in the country.
An increased minimum of 16 races each season will air on ABC and ESPN, both part of the Walt Disney Company, over the coming three years, F1 said in a statement.

The Disney+ streaming service saw its number of paying subscribers leap beyond expectations in the last quarter, as rival Netflix's client count ebbed, results showed on Aug. 10.
The number of people subscribing to Disney+ topped 152 million, up some 31 percent from the same period a year earlier, the entertainment giant said in an earnings report.

Shanghai Disneyland was closed on Nov. 1 over a single coronavirus case, as Chinese authorities pressed ahead with their zero-infection strategy ahead of the Winter Olympics.
China had reduced most domestic cases to a trickle throughout the pandemic, but a flare-up in recent weeks has tested Beijing's determination to eliminate Covid-19 as much of the rest of the world opens up.
