Belgrade: Ex-RS policemen on trial for Srebrenica war crime
The trial of eight former members of the Special Brigade of the RS Ministry of Interior (MUP) opened on Monday before the Higher Court in Belgrade.
The men are accused of committing war crimes against civilians in Srebrenica, Tanjug is reporting.
Serbian Ex-Policeman Acquitted of Threatening Peace Women
The Higher Court in Belgrade on Wednesday acquitted Pocuca of endangering the safety of Women in Black over a statement he made on Facebook in 2014 calling on football hooligans to target the Serbian peace group.
"For anyone who had doubts - justice always triumphs in the end," Pocuca wrote on Facebook after the verdict.

THE HAGUE - Ratko Mladic's defence on Friday began its closing argument before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), claiming he was not guilty of the crimes he is charged with, which include war crimes and a 1995 genocide of thousands of Muslims in Srebrenica.

Serbia set to criminalize genocide denial - minister
Denial of genocide and war crimes will become a criminal offense in Serbia.
This will be the case if final judgments reached either by a court in Serbia, or the International Criminal Court (ICC), establish that these acts had taken place.

BELGRADE - Prosecutors at the International Criminal Court said they have "reasonable basis" to believe the United States committed "war crimes" by torturing prisoners in Afghanistan, RFE/RL reported.
Bosnia Awards Iraqi War Crimes Convict €36,600
The Bosnian court awarded Abduladhim Maktouf, an Iraqi fighter convicted of war crimes during the 1992-95 conflict, 36,600 euros in compensation because he was in jail for two years longer than his sentence.
