BELGRADE - The Serbian government will call for a UN Security Council session over the announcement of formation of the armed forces of Kosovo and deterioration of the security and political situation in Kosovo-Metohija, Aleksandar Vulin, Serbian minister without portfolio in charge of Kosovo-Metohija, said on Thursday.

Tensions in Donetsk as Pro-Russians Seize Govt Building

Tension has been rising in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk as pro-Russian demonstrators seized a government administration building on Wednesday.

Some of the activists barged through the police protecting the area and entered the government building by smashing windows and entrances, Euronews reports. The Ukrainian flag on the roof was replaced by a Russian one.

Serbian military team completes tour with EU NAVFOR

DJIBOUTI, BELGRADE - The Serbian Armed Forces first autonomous team for protecting ships from pirates, which participated in Operation Atalanta of the EU Naval Force (NAVFOR), completed its tour of duty with NAVFOR on Tuesday.

A ceremony was held at the French base in Djibouti to mark the end of team's tour and they were presented with medals for their work with NAVFOR.
