Archive of Serbia opens World War I exhibition
BELGRADE - The Archive of Serbia opened an exhibition titled 'First World War in Archive of Serbia documents' on Friday as part of observation of Serbia’s Statehood Day, by which it officially begun celebrations of 100 years since the outbreak of the Great War.

Citizens trust KFOR most
BELGRADE - Serbian Defense Minister Nebojsa Rodic said on Thursday that Serbia's citizens place the greatest trust in KFOR when compared to other international actors present in Kosovo-Metohija, and that by maintaining its status-neutral position, NATO will back the implementation of the Brussels agreement.

Rodic confers with Slovenian Army Chief of General Staff

Petar Lubarda's painting Battle of Kosovo on display
BELGRADE - The National Library of Serbia put on display on Thurdsay the painting The Battle of Kosovo by Petar Lubarda (1907-1974) to mark the 40th anniversary of the artist's death.
The painting was created in 1953 and is part of the library's extensive collection.

Court confirms verdict for suspects for police stoning
BELGRADE - The Belgrade Appellate Court confirmed the verdict of four months of imprisonment each for three defendants charged with stoning the police cordon guarding the Belgrade Bajrakli Mosque in the night between March 17 and 18, 2004.
The sentences were confirmed for Milos Radisavljevic as one of the leaders of the Alcatraz football fan group, his father Rade and Bojan Hrvatin.
