Ukraine's military intelligence agency reported what appeared to be a brazen attack late Monday on Russian cruise missiles being transported by train in the occupied and illegally annexed Ukrainian Crimean Peninsula.

"We will categorically not send troops to Ukraine. The interpretations of the changes in the Law on Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria were extremely unsuccessful in a complex pre-election situation."

This was stated by the Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov on Bulgaria ON AIR TV.

The US State Department has approved Greece's potential purchase of several amphibious assault ships, noting that "the proposed sale will support US foreign policy and national security objectives by helping to improve the security of a NATO ally that is an important partner for political stability and economic progress in Europe".

A new report published by a think tank highlights the growing risk that the Russian president will "make one of the most fateful decisions of the century" in the face of his "failed invasion of Ukraine".

A police officer of the DIAS motorcycle unit was shot in the abdomen while chasing a thief in western Attica but avoided serious injury because he wore a bulletproof vest. 

The incident occurred on Wednesday night in the industrial area of Aspropyrgos where officers had been called to locate the man who robbed a pedestrian.

A 52-year-old man was arrested in the town of Chania, northwestern Crete, on Wednesday when he tried to sell "relics of saints" to a police officer posing as a buyer. 

According to the police, the suspect presented to the officer seven containers and cases which contained a total of 17 bones, which, according to his claims, were relics of Saints of the Roman Catholic Church.

A video released by the Ukrainian military shows a rocket launcher firing missiles. A drone is heading towards it, which at one point swerves slightly and then crashes into a vehicle on the ground. It is, in all likelihood, a kamikaze drone.
As reported by the Western media, the recording has not been independently confirmed.

The Hellenic Police estimates that more than 40,000 people marched in central Athens on Wednesday to protest the rail collision at Tempe last week that left 57 people dead. Sources from the Citizen Protection Ministry also pointed out that the march was a mostly peaceful affair.
