Bulgaria: Email Passwords of 2,439 Government Employees Exposed on the Dark Web

The Minister of e-Government, Alexander Yolovski, recently revealed that the passwords associated with 2,439 government employee email addresses have been leaked onto the dark web. This disclosure came in response to inquiries from the deputy of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria," Bozhidar Bozhanov.

All Google business services went down globally on 12:00 PM GMT, Gmail, Meets, Calendar, Docs, etc. in addition to Youtube are responding with error code 500.

Journalists Chief Victims of Digital Rights Violations in Serbia

Out of a total of 481 registered cases of digital rights violations, 115 involved threats and endangering security. There were 95 cases of insults and unfounded accusations.

The report noted there had been more arrests of late of people accused of threatening online space, but few have been sentenced while those who were received relatively mild punishments.

One in 10 Greeks is victim of online scams

Google is advising internet users to take online security more seriously as a study it commissioned on the occasion of Safer Internet Day (SID) on Tuesday showed that one in 10 Greek internet users has fallen victim to online scams.

According to the YouGov study, one in six Greeks are concerned about the security of their online banking information.
