First Snow in Bulgaria Brings a Taste of Winter
The first snow of the season has arrived in Bulgaria, just as meteorologists predicted. The snowfall began early this morning in the central parts of the Stara Planina and the higher areas of the Pre-Balkans. Photos and videos shared on social media show that while the snow is light, it has been enough to blanket the autumn landscape in a thin layer of white.

Alaska's largest city has set an absurd, at first glance, record, NOVA reports.
Alaskans have experienced both a record high temperature and a record amount of snowfall in the same day, AP reported.
A temperature of 7.2 degrees, or the highest in mid-November since 1967, was reported on Saturday. Typically, temperatures in mid-November are around 0 C.

Most of Bulgaria Braces for Rain on Sunday
Many areas in Bulgaria will see rainfall throughout Sunday, with low temperatures especially in the north of the country, according to the national weather service.
Maximum temperatures in the north will reach just 14 degrees, while in some places in the south of Bulgaria much milder weather is expected, at 22 degrees.
