Remote work still popular

The number of people working from home dropped in Slovenia this year to about a fifth of the level seen in 2021, but the figures are still 20 times higher than in pre-Covid 2019. Legislative changes are in the pipeline to reduce red tape around remote work, yet challenges remain.

Athens buses, trolleys to hold work stoppages on Labor Day

Buses and trolleys in Athens will take part in the mobilisations marking Labor Day on Monday with work stoppages at the start and end of the day's shifts.

According to their unions' announcements, buses and trolleys will not be running from the start of the shift until 9 a.m. and from 9 p.m. until the end of the shift.
