Workplace stress levels in Slovenia among highest in Europe

Ljubljana – Slovenia is among the European countries with the highest levels of stress at work. This is also one of the main reasons for missing work and short-time working, accounting for 50-60% of all lost working days, according to the career and employment portal MojeDelo.com.

Statistics shows hospitality and tourism hammered by Covid

Ljubljana – The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on business in Slovenia, but while the impact has not been adverse on all industries, the hospitality and tourism sectors have been hit hard. Fresh statistics show turnover falling by a third in hospitality last year as travel agencies and tour operators saw their revenue slashed by 77%.

Total economic turnover up in February

The total turnover of Turkey's economy jumped 22.2% year-on-year in February, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on April 13.

The total turnover index for the industry rose 17.1%, construction 8.3%, trade 28.2% and services 19.8% on annual basis in February 2020, according to TÜİK data.

Meanwhile, the total turnover rose 1.6% on monthly basis.
