Total turnover soars some 50 pct in March
The Turkish economy saw a 49.9 percent jump in total turnover in March on a yearly basis, the country's statistical authority announced on May 11.
The index posted the most significant change in the industry sector, up 53.5 percent year-on-year in March, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) figures showed.

Total economic turnover up in February
The total turnover of Turkey's economy jumped 22.2% year-on-year in February, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on April 13.
The total turnover index for the industry rose 17.1%, construction 8.3%, trade 28.2% and services 19.8% on annual basis in February 2020, according to TÜİK data.
Meanwhile, the total turnover rose 1.6% on monthly basis.
