Total turnover up 5.2% in March in Turkish economy
The Turkish economy posted an annual rise in total turnover in March, the country's statistical authority announced on May 14.
"Total turnover index including industry, construction, trade, and services sectors increased by 5.2% on annual basis in March 2020," said the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).

Turkey's total economic turnover surges in February
The total turnover of Turkey's economy jumped 22.2 percent year-on-year in February, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on April 13.
The total turnover index for the industry rose 17.1 percent, construction 8.3 percent, trade 28.2 percent and services 19.8 percent on annual basis in February 2020, according to TÜİK data.
Total economic turnover surges in January
The total turnover of Turkey's economy jumped 20.5 percent year-on-year in January, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on March 13.
Significant annual rises in the turnover indices in the industry, trade, and service sectors offset a fall in the construction sector, according to TÜİK data.

Turkish economy sees total turnover rise 21 pct in Dec
The Turkish economy's total turnover saw an annual rise of 21 percent in December 2019, according to a report released by the country's statistical authority on Feb. 13
The turnover index saw the biggest rise in the trade sector, up 26.9 percent on a yearly basis, said the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
Company fined over CCTV cameras
The Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) fined a private company 15,000 euros Wednesday for illegally installing a closed-circuit camera network with which it monitored the workplace, even the cafeteria, without the knowledge of employees.

The Turkish economy saw an annual increase in total turnover in November 2019, the country's statistical authority revealed on Jan. 14.
"Total turnover index including industry, construction, trade, and services sectors increased by 14.8 percent on annual basis in November 2019," said the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).

Turnover in trade, up 5.5pct ten months into 2019
Trade turnover grew by 5.5pct as unadjusted series and by 6.2pct as adjusted series, in the first 10 months of this year compared to the same period of last year.

Turnover in Athens center shops down in autumn sales season
One in two retail commerce enterprises located in the Athens center said their turnover was down compared with the same period last year, during the intermediate sales season, a survey by the Athens Commerce Club said on Thursday.
