Burgas Municipal Council Extends Year-Round Operation of "Green Parking Zone"
The municipal council of Burgas has opted to extend the operation of the city's "green zone" for paid parking throughout the entire year, with both summer and winter hours, according to reports from BNR. Previously, the zone, which covers streets near the Sea Garden, was only operational from May 1 to September 30.
Athens shops announce extended Easter opening hours
The extended opening hours of shops and stores for the Easter period will start on April 25.
The Athens Trade Association announced the proposed opening hours of Athens shops: from April 25 to Holy Thursday (May 2) from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday, April 28 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m, on Good Friday (May 3) from 1 until 7 p.m. and on Holy Saturday (May 4) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Korydallos metro station closed this weekend
Korydallos metro station (blue line) will be closed on Saturday and Sunday (April 13-14) to allow for the installation of new e-ticket equipment.
The station will reopen Monday.
A special bus service, the X50, will operate between Agia Marina and Nikaia stations over the weekend.

City folk head to the country for the long weekend
Athens residents who aren't planning to go anywhere for the long Carnival and Clean Monday weekend are in for a treat, as nearly 60,000 cars passed through the toll stations leading out of the Greek capital between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday.
The exodus is expected to continue through Saturday.
