World Diabetes Day is celebrated annually on 14 November each year by decision of the International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organization, in response to growing concern about the future of millions of people suffering from the disease.
There Are 442 Thousand People with Diabetes in Bulgaria
There are 442,000 people with diabetes in Bulgaria, or 8.3 percent of the population between the ages of 20 and 79. These figures were announced at a roundtable at the National Assembly "Together we can beat diabetes", according to the parliament's press centre.
