Bezos dethrones Musk to reclaim title of world's richest man
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos took back his spot as the world's richest man on Monday, dethroning Elon Musk on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Bezos' net worth stands at $200 billion, according to the tracker, surpassing the Tesla chief's $198 billion.

A total of 26 names from Türkiye entered the 2023 billionaires list published by Forbes, while İbrahim Erdemoğlu, the owner of a holding company manufacturing carpet, has officially surpassed Yıldız Holding chair Murat Ülker to take the title of the country's richest billionaire.

Two Bulgarians in the Forbes list of the Richest in the World
Bulgaria has found a place in the ranking of billionaires (in US dollars) of Forbes magazine with the brothers Kiril and Georgi Domuschievi.
In an article on the distribution of the richest in the world, Forbes points out that four countries have their representatives in the club of billionaires for the first time: Bulgaria, Barbados, Estonia and Uruguay.

The share of world wealth held by billionaires increased at a record high during the pandemic, Reuters reported, citing a study released today.
According to the World Inequality Report prepared by social science experts, in 2021 billionaires own 3.5 percent of global household wealth, compared to just over 2 percent before the 2020 pandemic.

Billionaires’ share of global wealth soars during pandemic
The share of global wealth of the world's richest people soared at a record pace during the Covid pandemic, a report on inequality showed on Dec. 7.
Since 1995, the slice held by billionaires has risen from one percent to three percent, according to the World Inequality Report.
Jeff Besos Ex-wife MacKenzie Donates 2.7bn USD
Billionaire MacKenzie Scott, ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has donated another .7bn to a range of charities.
Ms Scott said in a blog post that she wanted to give the money to those "that have been historically underfunded and overlooked".
She wrote that she had chosen 286 organisations working on racial inequality, the arts and education.
