Kosovo Court Issues Arrest Warrant For Albin Kurti
A court in Kosovo has issued an arrest warrant for MP Albin Kurti, one of four MPs from Vetevendosje accused of letting off teargas in parliament last year, after he failed to show up for his trial in the capital Pristina.
A judge told the hearing that he would issue the warrant for Kurti's detention to secure his presence in court.

Kosovo Hails CoE Observer Status as Diplomatic Win
Kosovo officials have hailed Tuesday's decision of the Council of Europe to admit Kosovo from January 2017 onwards to sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly, PACE, as a diplomatic triumph and a step towards full membership of the organization.
From January, Kosovo representatives will be taking part in sessions dealing with EU-Kosovo relations as observers and with no right to vote.

Thaci's uncle surrenders to EULEX investigators
Azem Syla has surrendered to investigative organs of the EU mission in Kosovo (EULEX), Tanjug reported on Friday, quoting Serbia's state broadcaster RTS.
Syla is a member of the Kosovo Assembly from the ranks of President Hashim Thaci's party, the PDK, and is also Thaci's uncle.

MP Facing Corruption Charges Surrenders to Kosovo Police
Azem Syla, a prominent legislator of the governing Democratic Party of Kosovo, charged on Wednesday in an investigation into an alleged land scam, surrendered to the EU law mission, EULEX, and to Kosovo police on Friday morning.
Syla's defence lawyer Tome Gashi confirmed on Friday that his client had handed himself in to the police.
